For many guests, the best feature of their stay was the friendly and efficient employees who served them. All requests were handled promptly and with a smile, and every member of the staff they encountered exudes competency. They also noted that the employees were quite helpful with directions and recommendations for things to do in the area.

Guests traveling for all sorts of reasons found that the hotel was in a convenient spot for their purposes. It near Greater Rochester International Airport and several major interstates, which made it easy for guests to get to and from wherever they were going. They also loved being near so many shops and restaurants during their stay, including Pittsford Plaza, which is within walking distance.

The majority of previous guests were very happy with the ample selection at breakfast. They were impressed that the buffet included a few hot items, like eggs and waffles, as well as the usual continental fare, and thought everything was fresh and kept well stocked.

Some of the rooms are located in a secondary building next to the main hotel. Though guests reported the rooms to be just as good as the ones in the main hotel, some of them felt unsafe crossing the parking lot to get there, or leaving their cars in that lot, which does not have cameras. Furthermore, even guests who had rooms in the main building sometimes had to use this lot, as the main one fills up quickly.

Several guests found the soundproofing in the hotel to be lacking, particularly in the ceilings. Guests on lower floors complained that they could hear every step above their heads.

While the rooms were reported to be generally clean, guests noticed a few flaws, such as dust in the corners or furniture polish that hadn't been wiped off properly.
