Gorgeous river views
Guests couldn’t get enough of the views of the Missouri River. The hotel was said to be perfectly situated to offer views with a bit of everything, including the garden leading to the river, the river itself and Sioux City on the opposite bank.

It wasn’t only the views from the property that impressed guests. They also reported that the hotel was very close to the centers of both South Sioux City and Sioux City itself. They were especially happy to be close to the Hard Rock Casino.

Guests found the room décor to be to their taste. It was described as very elegant, with the sort of color scheme that immediately put one into a calm state of mind.

No breakfast available
Many guests were bitterly disappointed to discover that the hotel serves no breakfast at all. They got the impression from various third party booking sites that a continental breakfast was available. Unfortunately, this was not the case, resulting in them having to scramble and find a restaurant for breakfast when they really just wanted to get on with their day.

Quite a number of guests felt that they did not receive good value for money during their stay. For a start, they felt the room rate was quite high for the area. Secondly, considering the lack of breakfast and some other amenities, they felt that they were being overcharged.

It was hard to find a good word written about the onsite restaurant, Kahill’s. Guests mention a number of issues from tough steaks to long wait times, but it seems that it was the poor attitude of the wait staff that really seemed to irk them.
