Although a few guests were a little disappointed by how far this hotel is from the beach, many found the location acceptable. Having a car would be preferable to take advantage of the easy exploration afforded by the adjacent freeway.

The majority of guests are appreciative of the standard of the rooms and suites at the Courtyard Huntington Beach Fountain Valley, describing them as clean and comfortable if a little on the small side.

The staff at the hotel seem to go all out to ensure guests feel welcome and at home. The front desk team offers information about the local area and are happy to offer dining recommendations. Plus, the service in the Bistro attracts positive feedback.

The Wi-Fi access doesn't appear to be terrible, but several guests do mention that the speed of the connection does tend to vary throughout the day. As guests return to the hotel in the evening, the speed may drop considerably.

Although the pool area is described as well-maintained and as a nice place to relax, guests do sometimes suggest that some outside heaters around the area would be a nice touch.

A fair number of guests comment that noise from the freeway is an issue, so it might be worth asking for a room on the quiet side of the hotel if this will be a problem for you. It's also worth noting that the pool stays open until around 10 pm, and some noise may be heard from this area.
