Positive Reviews
positive:
Location can't be beat.
Guests were saying, "Bravo!" for the excellent location, within walking distance of everything important. Just five minutes on foot from Santa Maria Novella train station, and down the street from highly rated restaurants, many guests said that, should they return to Florence, Soggiorno Rondinelli would be their top choice.
positive:
Fabulous terrace.
When the weather was good, guests couldn't get enough of the roof top terrace. Not only could guests take in the picture-perfect terracotta roofs of Florence, they could unwind amongst the jasmine and other fragrant greenery.
positive:
A great host.
Guests were received with a warm smile and the offer of a map to make the most of the city. If you're looking for great hospitality, chances are that you will find it here.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A strenuous climb.
Some guests found it hard to navigate the stairs. With no lift in sight, there were as many as four flights of stairs to tackle, which was sometimes inconvenient. While front desk staff generally offered to assist with luggage, guests would have preferred an easier ascent.
negative:
No round the clock reception.
Guests who needed to contact the front desk weren't always in luck. Late or early arrivals required special notification, and some would have liked to be able to find someone on the premises when problems or inquiries arose. The good news, though, is that the host was found to be easily contacted and responsive when elsewhere.
negative:
Wi-Fi not always up to par.
Free Internet access was a nice touch, but some guests were frustrated with the Wi-Fi capabilities here. If you are reliant on the Internet for business, this could be something to keep in mind.
