The hotel is not in a nice part of town. There are several liquor store and strip clubs which can be seen from the hotel windows. Local convenience stores also have thick partitions of glass separating the customers from the workers. While there are restaurants and shops within walking distance, this is not advised especially at night. The parking lot also seems to be the hangout for indigents and vagrants.

The rooms often have dirt and dust left over from previous guests and new guests can discover used sheets and used trash cans still in the room. Many times, the rooms aren't ready when guests arrive, but if you push your time frame, you might be changing your own sheets and emptying your own garbage.
