Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location for Sirmione.
The hotel is a great location for those who want to explore Sirmione. It's an easy walk to the old town centre which is full of shopping, tourist attractions, and restaurants. It's also close to the ferry port and bus stop so guests aren't limited to just what's in the town. But, if relaxation is the key priority, the views from the hotel looking over the lake can't be beat.
positive:
You don't have to start hungry.
The free breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is a great way to start the day. The food choices are varied, even for guests who stay a week or longer. The food is well-prepared and the presentation is pleasing. Overall, the food quality, including dinners at the restaurant, is excellent.
positive:
You're not just one of the crowd.
The staff at the hotel goes out of their way to be both friendly and accommodating. You won't feel like one of the crowd here. Instead, you'll feel like a treasured guest whose every need and want comes first.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Can't escape the heat.
The weather can get quite hot and uncomfortable during the season and you just might not be able to escape it completely. During these times, the air-conditioning can't keep pace with the need for a freezing room. Also, the heated pool loses its thrill when the summer days have you sweating. Don't expect to cool down there, because the pool is always warm.
negative:
Tight quarter.
The rooms at the hotel are small, in general. For guests who travel alone, the accommodations seem adequate. For multiple guests travelling with lots of luggage, there will be some space issues.
negative:
WiFi woes.
The closer you are to the ground floor, the better the WiFi seems to work. For guests who are on the second and third floors, the WiFi signal gets weaker and sometimes doesn't work at all.
