Hotel Silver Spring (Silver Spring, USA)

This hotel is just a short walk from the Metro station giving you easy access to the rest of the city. It's a great neighborhood with plenty to do within walking distance, and it's very close to the American Film Institute.

The hotel restaurant and Sergio's Italian both serve up some delicious food that's good value for money. You can even order room service as long as either restaurant is still open. You won't feel the need to leave the hotel once for food even though there are great restaurants nearby.

The check-in process is a breeze, and the entire hotel feels very relaxed. It's an ideal place for some downtime as the local neighborhood is peaceful and safe. You won't feel any stress at all due to the surroundings of this hotel.

This building is starting to show the signs or wear and tear so don't be surprised if there are some maintenance issues in your room. Old furniture and carpets are spotted throughout this hotel, and it is probably long overdue a refurb.

The parking service isn't the best at this hotel. It is an extra charge on top of your room rate, but it's the need to call the front desk to ask for your car that bothers some guests. They would prefer to ask the valet themselves as it would be much quicker.

The rooms are quite small at this hotel, and although they are well-equipped, they are also pretty old. The staff aren't too interested in complaints about the rooms so don't expect to get a room change or an apology.
