Hotel Shepherds Knapp (Axminster, United Kingdom)

Shepherds Knapp is a self catering lodge rather than a bed and breakfast property. Guests enjoyed the fact that they had the entire place to themselves, with its lovely lounge and wonderful sunset views from private patio.

The apartment is very well equipped and a relaxing place to stay. Guests found that the kitchen area was very well equipped and there was a TV and DVD player available for their use. The lodge has lovely, tasteful interiors that are very clean and well kept said guests. Guests also enjoyed the breakfast that was brought to the lodge each morning.

The lodge is large and capacious and can sleep up to six people. Guests travelling as a family or a group enjoyed the fact that there is plenty of space for everyone here.

Some of the listings of Shepherds Knapp mention free Wi-Fi but some guests found that Wi-Fi was either unavailable or that the password provided at the property had some glitch. Some guests felt that the lack of Wi-Fi was due to bad weather.

One guest thought that the pots and pans provided were not in good condition and seemed to need replacing as soon as possible. The sofa bed provided appears to be a bit old and sags in the middle said a guest. One or two guests mentioned that the shower was a bit temperamental and could have been more powerful.

One or two guests thought that the place was a bit hard to find in the dark as the signposting is not very prominent.
