The hotel location is great! It's close to downtown Charleston, there is a fantastic selection of restaurants in the area, and you will enjoy the long marsh boardwalks.

The staff are great. They are attentive to your needs and treat you like friends and family, which adds a home like ambiance to the facility.

The air conditioning is extremely loud. In fact, the sound is so rambunctious that you'd think an aircraft was hovering right over your room, or in it! To top it off, it runs around-the-clock giving you a heavy dose of noise pollution. It can get so intense, your floor might vibrate. It can definitely interrupt your sleep, if you manage to get to sleep.

Sure, the scene looks nice and tranquil, but there's a party looming around the corner. The nightlife in the area is lively, and not only on weekends. If you think you're going to a calm retreat, it's not what you're going to get.

The parking lot is not paved and has potholes, and you know what potholes can do to a vehicle! In addition, the lot retains water. So when it rains, it's soaked, the potholes fill up with water, and there is mud to round it off. The parking garage can only manage several cars. It's just a mess all the way round.
