Positive Reviews
positive:
A good position
The hotel lies between Fiumicino, Ciampino and downtown Rome. The Euroma2 shopping mall is easily accessed using the underpass and the metro station is a little over a mile away. There is also a conference centre nearby and taxis are in good supply. The location is good for access to and from both airports.
positive:
Delightful rooms
The room is perhaps a bit dated but clean, bright and quite spacious. The air conditioning is a dream … a good one! Some rooms include facilities for disabled guests. Also, apparently, there are a few inferior rooms so be on your guard and make sure that you avoid these. Avoid, too, those near the noisy main road.
positive:
A super pool
Communally, there’s a lovely pool which also incorporates a baby pool. You’ll need to wear a swim cap, for reasons of hygiene.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Missing some essentials
It’s usual, these days, to find complimentary drinking water in the room, but not here. Also missing are tea and coffee facilities and an iron and board. You really miss these items when they aren’t supplied. There is Wi-Fi but it’s very poor.
negative:
No breakfast surprises
Day in, day out; breakfast is always the same. There are choices available. They never vary though and so it becomes very monotonous. Later, the restaurant menus are good, but highly priced.
negative:
Off-centre
It’s a 25-minute walk to the EUR Fermi metro station and then it takes approximately 20 minutes to get to places such as The Colosseum. This isn’t a hotel where you can step outside the door and into the hub of Rome’s nightlife and activity.
