Positive Reviews
positive:
A great location for your Rome city trip
The hotel is near many of the major attractions which can be easily reached in a short walk. Restaurants, nightlife venues and boutiques are nearby as well. The hotel is a short two minute walk to the train station Termini, making it easy to use the Metro to get to places that are out of your walking range or the bus to get to the airport.
positive:
Comfortable, updated rooms
Guests really liked the recently updated rooms. Air conditioning works well, a plus for sweltering summer days. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi works well throughout the property. The rooms are on the small side, but well appointed and have basic amenities which are usually enough on a city trip.
positive:
Nice, helpful staff
Guests loved the friendly customer service they received at this location. The staff speaks English well. They are able to point you to attractions or restaurants nearby and try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some noise is possible
Because this is a lively neighbourhood, there is usually something going on day and night and you might hear some noise from the street if you have a room facing it. Some guests also heard water pipe noise in their room. An easy way to remedy this is to use some earplugs.
negative:
TV does not have many international channels
Be prepared to be stuck with one channel, as most of the TV is in Italian. If you like to watch movies in the evening, the variety at this location is not really big.
negative:
Elevator is ancient
Some guests felt that the elevator needed an upgrade, being very slow and somewhat unreliable. Many hotels in old buildings in Rome do not even offer an elevator.
