The location of Hotel Sentral Kuantan is a highlight for many guests, particularly business travellers. The location means that walking to many destinations is very easy which makes it not only convenient but can also save a few pennies here and there.

Poor room soundproofing lets down the rooms somewhat and it is quite easy to hear conversations and other activities in adjoining rooms. Rooms closer to the main road may also be more susceptible to traffic noise, not the best options for business travellers or light sleepers.

While the hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all public spaces, business centre and conference facility which is of a high quality, the same cannot be said for the Wi-Fi signal in most of the rooms. Signal is often erratic or weak and it may be best to use the signal in the lobby or business centre if it is important.
