Hotel Secret Harbour Beach Resort (Red Hook, US Virgin Islands)

The condos are right on the beach in Nazareth Bay and guests say it's a lovely stretch with great snorkeling and gorgeous views.

The resort is about five minutes from Red Hook and its quirky restaurants and shops. The ferry to St. John is in Red Hook as well, and guests can take a day trip to the island and enjoy the National Park beaches and restaurants and then catch the last ferry back to St. Thomas.

The units here are full condos and feel like a home away from home. Guests enjoy spreading out, especially families. The condos are a great base to explore St. Thomas and the rest of the Virgin Islands.

The condos are all individually owned and decorated and guests say there's quite a difference between units in terms of furniture, décor and condition.

Guests say they don't come here to watch TV but they are surprised by how old the TVs are. Needless to say, if you want to watch TV here you may be disappointed in your viewing options.

You can get all around the island by taxi or bus, but guests say don't plan on walking anywhere from this resort. Roads are narrow and windy and there are no sidewalks, so even though the grocery store isn't far, it might be a treacherous trip by foot.
