The food served at Hook & Plow is given many compliments. Many ingredients are locally sourced. The craft beers have gotten great reviews and the wine list is extensive. Guests also liked the breakfast buffet, in both selection and quality. Room service breakfast is also given many compliments. The portions are decent and the food was delivered quickly.

Guests were pleasantly surprised to find a game area in the lobby lounge with lots of options for entertainment for all ages. A few favorites were yard chess, football and beanbag toss. Also, don't forget to check out the sundeck with breathtaking views of the water, accessible from the lobby.

The hotel is situated next to Pike Place Market, on the downtown Seattle waterfront. Guests arriving by boat or ferry were delighted that the hotel was close to the terminal. The majority of the downtown attractions are walking distance from the hotel.

You may wait in line for valet parking, according to guest reviews. The staff is apparently poorly managed and unsure of their job duties. The card machine is sometimes broken - but you don't have to pay cash. The fees can be charged to your room. Only valet parking is available in the hotel but offsite self parking is available too.

Some guests complained that the view they were promised was over-hyped. A lot of the waterfront views are reportedly not as impressive as expected. If you're looking for a good view of the harbor, guest advise that you should ask for a west side room.

There have been many confused guests due to lack of signage or poor directions. There are also vending machine signs on every floor but reportedly no vending machines.
