Positive Reviews
positive:
Every unit is close
Regardless of the rental unit chosen, it is just a short walk to a public beach in the area. Seaside is a planned pedestrian town, so all the shops and restaurants are within walking or easy biking distance. This is a great way to leave the busy tourist attractions behind and focus on a small and ideal community.
positive:
The little perks
While each unit is unique, the added perks make for a special stay. There are free bike rentals and free bottles of wine, as well as occasional baskets of snacks. These small touches add personality to each stay. Also, some units have access to playgrounds, fire pits, and exercise facilities, adding unexpected bonuses.
positive:
So many choices
Because there are so many units, guests have a wide range of choices to suit their personal needs. Some homes have pools; some have full kitchens; some are just small bungalows. It is a great choice for extended families or for those quiet romantic weekend getaways.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not enough bikes
Each rental unit comes with two free bike rentals. While this is perfect for a one-bedroom bungalow, other units and larger groups will be left in the cold as far as biking is concerned. Then, you'll have to walk everywhere or pay a hefty rental fee for extra wheels.
negative:
Doesn't meet expectations
Some of the units are tucked away in hard to find locations, rather than in open communities and neighborhoods. Also, the website pictures do not necessarily represent the unit you'll be given. There are many units and the particular room is pre-assigned.
negative:
Extra hoops and hassles
Read the fine print. Daily maid service is only for larger rentals. There is not laundry available at every unit. Some units with pools and exercise rooms have extra fees for usage. Also, parking is very difficult at some of the smaller units.
