Grocery and liquor stores are nearby but, come on, you're on holiday so can do without the hassle of preparing meals. So, as an alternative to self catering, there's plenty of eating places nearby. Buffalo Jack's Wings + Pizza is legendary, according to the publicity. It's certainly good value!

There are some good facilities here. The workout room is particularly impressive. There's easy access to the beach. It's about a quarter of a mile's stroll, but that's OK.

Uncomplicated, the key system is easy to use and very effective - so there's an important feeling of safety and security, for you and your possessions.

Service leaves a lot to be desired and the holiday gets off on the wrong foot with poor administration and confusion reigning supreme on the front desk at check-in. These problems and the accompanying delays can take a long time to sort out. Prepare to be either thrilled or mortified with the accommodation. Some services are standard but the basics and ongoing investment in updating and furnishings is undertaken by the individual owner - or not!

If you think that you've paid in full prior to arrival, think again! The front desk is likely to 'clobber' you with extra costs and fees for things you've never seen mentioned before.

WiFi is poor, but that's not unusual - just an added inconvenience. Additional pains to endure include advertised services being out of commission or unavailable. There may, for instance, be no game, set or match on any of the tennis courts!
