Although it is usually quite busy at Sea Splash, guests reported that the front desk staff still managed to pull it all together and get newcomers quickly checked-in. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and ready to serve. Staff members go out of their way to chat with guests, they are quick to resolve issues and accommodate special requests and they do an excellent job of servicing the guest rooms. .

An award-winning chef is the star at the on-site restaurant and exquisitely-prepared, delicious and fresh meals is her specialty. Guests reported that the menu is varied, the servings are plentiful and the views from the restaurant are amazing.

This hotel is surrounded by spectacular beauty that includes a lovely garden and long, sandy beach. The hotel itself is quite small so it's quiet and never over-crowded and the location is central and close to many attractions. .

Guests reported that the Wi-Fi service at Sea Splash hardly ever works in the rooms or anywhere around the hotel and when it does work, it's slow. .

The guest rooms are in bad shape with many issues reported such as toilets that don't flush properly, malfunctioning air conditioning, stained bedding, dated decor and poor lighting. Also reported was a smell of stale cigarette smoke, a lack of toiletries and broken appliances. .

Guests reported that they didn't feel safe around the hotel or the beach. There are a number of vendors who harass guests non-stop and there have even reports of what looks to be drug and prostitution-related activities. The security guards don't seem to care and don't do anything to try and correct the problem. .
