About Scandic Grand Marina
The 4-star Hotel Scandic Grand Marina is a Helsinki waterfront hotel less than five minutes’ walk from Uspenski Cathedral, Kauppatori market square and the Presidential Palace, just next door to Viking Line cruises. Senate Square, the Helsinki city centre and plenty of shopping, dining and nightlife are found within a 15 minute walk from the renovated warehouse building.
Each room has wooden floors and comes standard with a separate bathroom with shower and hairdryer, flat-screen TV with movie channels, safety-deposit box, minibar, free Wi-Fi, room service and an ergonomic desk.
Paid private parking, a children’s playroom, gym, sauna, loan bicycles and a small shop at reception are available. The hotel has seven conference rooms and the Scandic Marina Congress Centre opposite has meeting rooms for up to 2500 people.

Handy for ferries and downtown Helsinki.
Guests found they were well placed to walk to downtown Helsinki attractions like Esplanadi Park, the cathedrals and Senate Square, as well as being very close to the Viking Ferry terminal and departure points for for daytrip and Tallinn cruises. Tram stops and restaurants were also found nearby.

Some of those who stayed considered the buffet breakfasts too busy to properly enjoy, with only one toaster available for hundreds of people and a lack of seating later in the service.
