Hotel Santa Justa (Lisbon, Portugal)

The staff at Santa Justa are very welcoming and continue to acknowledge guests throughout their entire stay by frequently asking if everything is good, going out of their way to make conversation with guests and offering suggestions on things to do in the area. All service is quick and efficient and most staff members are multilingual.

The guest rooms are very spacious with lots of storage areas and room to move about. Guests also reported that the views are quite nice, the walls and windows are soundproof, the room temperature is always just right, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are large and luxurious with lots of hot water in the showers.

Guests reported that the breakfast served each morning is large with a wide variety of delicious, healthy, fresh, well-prepared items to choose from.

Guests reported that the food served at the hotel is of poor-quality with hot items served cold, cold items served warm and over-seasoned items. Also reported was food being left out in the open where flies can get to it and slow service.

Guests reported that some staff members are unknowledgeable about the area, the hotel and basic things they should know like how to make a cocktail or properly serve food. Also reported was staff that seem disinterested in guests' needs, staff who are not accommodating when there are issues with the rooms and mix-ups with rooms that have guests being assigned to rooms that are already occupied.

The rooms at Santa Justa are quite small with a lack of storage space and hangers in the wardrobe. Guests also reported that the decor is dated and boring, the air conditioning doesn't work, the beds are uncomfortable and the showers don't work properly.
