Positive Reviews
positive:
Located right in the medina
Despite being located on Jemaa El Fna, Marrakech's busiest square, the hotel is described as being almost unbelievably quiet and serene - a true oasis amongst the bustle. When guests do want to get out and about, they appreciate that the hotel is so close to the square. There are many fascinating shops and sights in the medina, but if it all gets a bit too much it's easy to dash back to the hotel for a quick recharge.

positive:
Delightful rooftop terrace and pool
This is many guests favourite area of the hotel. The pool itself offers some respite from the summer heat, while later on the terrace is a great place to relax and watch the changing light.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No bar or alcohol on-site
Unlike some other hotels in the area, there is no alcohol served on the premises. While it is understood that there is something of a cultural taboo surrounding alcohol in Morocco, a few guests mentioned that it would have been great if they had been able to relax on the terrace with a drink in hand.
negative:
No in-room tea or coffee making facilities
While tea and coffee is obviously available in the lobby, and via room service, it has been mentioned that having some self service options would allow guests to make themselves a quick “cuppa” with no fuss.
negative:
Disappointing breakfast
A few guests mentioned that the quality of the breakfast was not quite up to the high standards found in other areas of the hotel. Lack of variety, and food not the correct temperature, were the most common complaints.
