Hotel Royal Palm Beach (Gümbet, Turkey)

Guests have a very positive impression of the staff on the whole. Although not everyone has the same experiences, the majority of guests found them professional and exceptionally friendly. Their helpful attitude masks any difficulties some have in speaking English.

Just a couple of minutes from the beach and five minutes from the town centre, guests have the freedom to come and go as they please. This liberty is assisted by a free shuttle bus which runs to the town centre at night. Another plus for many is that the hotel itself is pretty quiet at night.

If you like to have some room to move around in, you will feel at home at the Royal Palm Beach. Guests appreciate its spaciousness.

An alarming proportion of guests have reservations about the cleanliness of the hotel. It is not just the cleaning of the rooms which is taken lightly but the hygiene overall. The rooms are seemingly cleaned infrequently and the bed-sheets rarely. Even then they seem just to get given a quick sweep and they're off. Some claim that the pool area needs cleaning more regularly and is in need of a deep clean.

Some guests find the food is nice and of a good quality. Many are satisfied to start with and get less and less inspired as their stay continues. They see the same dishes return again and again - sometimes even recycled for the next day's lunch.

The hotel may be an all-inclusive but the “all” is quite limited. The drinks are all local and many find not of a good standard. What's more the bar shuts early every night around 10:30 pm.
