If you're given an attic room be prepared for a strenuous hike up a narrow staircase to get to it. Taking all your luggage up there can be difficult so ask a member of staff to help you if you think you'll struggle.

Signs pointing off the main road to lead you here are virtually non-existent, so if you're not familiar with the area you could easily get lost. Try to avoid arriving at night if you are driving here yourself, and use a sat nav if you have one.

Once you arrive at Roundthorn Country House you'll surely be in awe of the elegant building, but after staying here you could feel like the room is too expensive for what it is. There really aren't many facilities here, but the views are nice.
