Hotel Rosedale Inn (Pacific Grove, USA)

Guests found it very convenient being just a short stroll away from the nearest beach as well as many local shops and restaurants. Those who stayed here on business appreciated being within walking distance of the Asilomar Conference Center whilst many used the inn as a base to explore the area’s numerous nearby attractions.

All of the en-suites have been described as being of generous size with guests stating that they could move comfortably around the furniture and could easily stow away their belongings. Many appreciated having all the mod-cons in their rooms such as fridges and microwaves which made it possible for the guests to prepare and store their own food.

Although the inn is in close proximity to the beach and many local amenities, it is nestled in a quiet residential area meaning that guests could enjoy peaceful and tranquil evenings. There are no noisy clubs in the vicinity and many appreciated just being able to hear the sounds of the waves and the birds.

The continental breakfasts were described as rather meager with only a limited amount of items available. Guests also objected to the fact that items of food ran out and were not replenished leaving them no option but to have their breakfast elsewhere.

Guests reported several maintenance-related issues ranging from blown light bulbs through to faulty fire places, loose electrical outlets and mouldy grouting.

The decor was described as looking somewhat tired with guests objecting to tatty-looking carpets and upholstery, peeling wallpapers and old-fashioned pieces of furniture. The bathroom suites were said to be rather dated whilst many also objected to the lack of hand rails on the tubs.
