Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location in Granada.
Within walking distance of the cathedral, the Alhambra, the Plaza Nueva, local transport connections and the city’s shopping district, no matter what you want to see, it seems that you are within easy reach of it from this boutique hotel.
positive:
Helpful, knowledgeable staff.
By all accounts, it appears that Room Mate Leo’s staff are endlessly helpful. They will book tours, assist with car rentals, give you free Wi-Fi keys, chill your wine and even loan you an umbrella. Past guests report that staff go out of their way to recommend good picks for nearby bars and restaurants.
positive:
Enjoy the sound of silence.
Many light-sleeping guests were pleasantly surprised that their rooms were so quiet, given the hotel’s central location. However, it is worth knowing that all of the 32 rooms at this hotel are indeed soundproof, a feature that delighted many guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Car troubles.
Of the very few negative reviews associated with this hotel, the top complaint was that it is not easily accessed by car. While it is located on a pedestrianized street, some guests were not informed of this upon booking. Because of this, those who came by car often had difficulty in locating the property and were somewhat shocked at having to cart their luggage from their parking space to the hotel.
negative:
Mixed reviews on the mattresses.
A few guests also commented on the quality of the mattresses here, which they found to be either too soft, too low to the ground, too small or just plain uncomfortable. For some, this appeared to impact their night’s rest and the overall quality of their stay.
negative:
Occasional Wi-Fi issues.
Some – but by no means all – guests reported having connection issues with Wi-Fi, especially with the initial log in process.
