There are two Metro stations nearby which is the name for the Lisbon underground. The centre of Lisbon can be accessed in approximately ten minutes and it may be worth purchasing a daily ticket rather than a journey ticket. Lisbon Airport is approximately 15-minutes by car. There are enough shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance, but far enough away to not disturb your holiday.
The beds are comfortable, the rooms spacious and cleaned regularly to a good standard.
The majority of the staff at the hotel are very miserable and it comes across like they don’t want to be there. They seem quite arrogant, like they are doing you a favour by serving you. The reception staff in particular have received many complaints for being unfriendly and argumentative with previous guests feeling that they haven’t been given the welcome they deserve. Check in can be slow and reception staff may not be able to speak other languages to a high standard.
Breakfast has received mixed reviews with many guests stating that it is good quality, but very limited choices available and repetitive day after day.
The lifts always seem to be full and therefore you can spend a long time waiting for them. They can be quite noisy so you may wish to avoid rooms close by to them.
