You can get around Pasadena or Los Angeles easily from this hotel location. Rodeway is located on Colorado Boulevard, near Old Town Pasadena which has lots of shops and dining options. The hotel is also near public transportation options.

Guests raved about the memory foam bed, saying that they were very comfortable and slept well. The majority of reviewers said the mattress pad was “well appreciated” and very soft. However, a few of the reviewers thought the bed was too soft – so it’s up to your personal preference.

Several guests noted that the hotel offered affordable rates for the Los Angeles area. The rooms have  a refrigerator and microwave,  TV and Wi-Fi, all the basic amenities you could ask for. The price range was affordable, guests said.

Several guests said it’s a challenge to get in and out of the hotel’s parking spaces, because they seemed too compact. Only small cars can fit in the spaces and people could barely squeeze out of their cars and walk between the parking spaces. Also, street parking is not permitted overnight.

Many guests described the breakfast as underwhelming saying it consisted of just junk pastries like donuts and muffins. For people with health problems, the lack of healthy breakfast options was disappointing.

There have been complaints about the level of cleanliness at the hotel. They said the facilities seemed unclean with mystery stains, cigarette smells and suspected mold in the shower. They said the room seemed dimly lit and that overall, the rooms needed better cleaning.
