Positive Reviews
positive:
Spectacular city center location.
All the 'sights', including The White House, are within walking distance; so it's a great hotel for tourist visitors. Another dimension is the proximity to places of business, making the hotel equally attractive to commercial guests. It's easy to get around, with bus services, the metro and cabs; all easily accessed.

Sound proofed rooms!
Just when you thought that hotels weren't bothered about the noise factor; here, at last, are soundproofed rooms! They contain everything you need; even for self catering if you prefer. The ultimate is a room with lounge and kitchen area; a real home from home.
positive:
Accommodating staff.
Staff are pleasant and helpful and are given something of an easy ride in that there is very little for the guest to query or complain about. Bottled water on arrival and a coffee point in the reception area, combine to create a welcoming atmosphere for the visitor.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It's not 'really' a hotel, is it?
There's no catering; breakfast, lunch or dinner. That's what hotels do! Yes, the pub next door is great and you can get a really good breakfast at the coffee shop a few doors away. But, there's nothing at the hotel itself! If, though, you want a luxury bedsit with lots of trimmings, you've come to the right place!
negative:
An unwelcome 'dawn chorus'.
The dawn arrival of noisy garbage trucks easily over rides any sound proofing that may be here. It's particularly noticeable to the rear of the building and is a real 'turn off'.
negative:
Strange staff.
Some are very nice, personable and eager to help. Others are glassy eyed, stand offish and view your presence as an inconvenience.
