Value for money all round.
Those who stayed said this hotel offers good value for money, thanks to its lovely interior design, generally very clean rooms, renovated facilities, plenty of space and strong Wi-Fi. On top of this, the staff members were thought to be helpful and friendly.
positive:
Decent breakfast selection.
The breakfast buffets were said to be of a passable standard to get you going for the day, with a large variety on offer, sparking wine, and it is also served from the top floor of the building. Having said this, a small number of guests were not so impressed with the quality of fare on offer.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A little far from centre for some.
A small number of those who stayed said that the hotel was a little far out of the centre if you want to spend most of your time exploring the old town. Despite this, it is still reportedly within walking distance for those who do not mind a decent stroll.
negative:
Occasional noise from guests.
Guests occasionally said that some noise can be experienced from others staying in the hotel, or from daily staff operations, due to seemingly poor noise insulation. For that reason, perhaps consider taking earplugs.
negative:
A few things missing.
Rixwell Terrace Design Hotel guests were disappointed to find that there were a few things missing, in their opinions; including shower curtains, bedside reading lamps, and an on-site restaurant, instead of just a breakfast service.
