Hotel Riverbend Inn & Vineyard (Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada)

The inn is surrounded by its own extensive grounds which provide a picturesque and tranquil backdrop. Guests were able to enjoy peaceful evenings and many chose to spend their free time either sitting out on the patio or exploring the beautifully-maintained gardens. If you are a looking for a relaxing countryside getaway and a partial to scenic views then you'll certainly be in your element.

For many guests the highlight of the stay was being able to admire the sunsets over the vineyards as well as waking up to the serene countryside views each morning. Guests appreciated the elegant antique furniture and quality upholstery whilst the bathrooms were said to be equally well-presented with elegant fixtures and fittings.

There are many scenic walks and nature trials in close proximity to the inn which suited many who came here to enjoy the great outdoors. Wine lovers were also pleased to find several popular wineries and vineyards literally on their doorstep.

Guests who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms said that the Wi-Fi signal was rather weak and intermittent which meant that they had to log-on  several times.

There is no lift on the premises and guests whose rooms were located on the higher floors said that they found it cumbersome climbing the stairs with their heavy luggage upon arrival.

Guests mentioned that they had to wait longer than expected to place their orders at breakfasts and some also objected to the rather sluggish service at dinner. Others reported having to go in search of waiting staff as none were available in the dining room.
