You'll receive a very friendly welcome at Riverbank Guest House. The staff are lovely and helpful, with a good attention to detail and a genuine desire to make sure you are having the best time possible. The atmosphere they create is very calming.
The hotel is in a quiet spot, with a lovely garden that offers river views and stunning scenery. Happily, despite its peaceful position, it is still convenient for the train station and bus links. Being a short walk from town, there are lots of shops and restaurants from which to choose.
Guestrooms are immaculately clean and comfy with good mattresses, tea and coffee-making facilities and tasty biscuits. Some of them offer delightful views of the gardens as well.
While the mattresses at Riverbank Guest House are comfortable, the pillows might be a little hard for some people's taste. Also, some of the beds are quite short and narrow. If you are tall, your feet might hang off the edge.
