Negative Reviews
negative:
Cheap Renovations and No Live-Action.
While the hotel gets points for trying to be more modern, some guest remarked that the makeover looks more 'plastic' and less palace-like. Guests who visited prior to the remodel noted the difference, but not always in a good way.
negative:
New Layout Has Drawbacks.
Some returning guests felt the renovations made the resort too sparse, saying it’s a long trip from one area to another with little to do in between. Furthermore, they mentioned some building layouts seems ill-conceived. For example, they claim the open bar provided no escape from the elements, which can be problematic on cold days for visitors (and the staff on duty).
negative:
Crowded Swimming Pools.
While there are five pools on the property, some guests assert there's still some crowding. Finding an empty sun lounge can also be a challenge too since ‘early birds’ place their towels on the loungers and leave. As for the pool bar, a couple of visitors mentioned that it's difficult to get service sometimes.
