The riad is in a great part of Marrakesh with plenty to see nearby. Museums like the Douiria Derb el Hammam, the Maison de la Photographie and Musee Douiria De Mouassine, as well as Medina of Marrakesh and the city's ancient ramparts are all within a few minutes' walk. You can also check out a nearby souk, one the city's legendary markets which still exist just as they did centuries ago.

Your stay at the Riad Ta'achchaqa includes breakfast prepared by the hotel's in-house cook. Guests love the simple, yet flavorful breakfast, as well as the dinner which blends traditional Moroccan and European flavors.

Although right in the center of the city's bustling Medina neighborhood, the riad's environs are very calming. You may enjoy the serene and well-decorated interior courtyard which is the hallmark of a traditional Moroccan home, or head up to the rooftop patio for a relaxing dip in the bath.

Many guests mention that the riad is very difficult to find. The building is down a narrow, rather dark street, making especially hard to locate at night for travelers not familiar with the neighborhood.

The owners of the riad speak English, but the staff do not. As the owners are not always on hand to help with guests' concerns, A basic knowledge of French can come in handy in order to help communicate with the hotel staff.

The riad's "pool" is really more of a bath rather than a swimming pool. As it is meant more for soaking and relaxing, do not expect to be able to do any swimming during your stay.
