Hotel Residenza San Calisto (Rome, Italy)

The hotel has only six guestrooms and is by the feel of it more of a bed and breakfast. Many guests liked the carefully designed rooms which lack the impersonal touch of a typical hotel room. The rooms are big, clean and cozy.

The staff is there to help and provides excellent customer service. If you have any questions regarding the best attractions or restaurants, you can be assured the people working here will be able to help you. Their friendliness has been pointed out by many guests.

Many of the main historic attractions can be reached in a short walk. The same is true for Nightlife, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The tram does not stop far from the hotel either if you prefer to use public transportation to explore Rome.

In some rooms guests had trouble to get a Wi-Fi connection that was reliable, though the connection worked well in the common rooms like the lobby.

Some guests felt that the fact that the front desk was not 24 hours manned took away from their experience and that there was not always somebody fast at hand.

The double bed is not one single queen mattress but two single mattresses. This is a common way double beds are created in Europe but it leaves a gap between the two mattresses that not everybody might enjoy.
