Hotel Residencia Onix (Barcelona, Spain)

While guests weren't 100 % happy with the location, with some saying it was too far from the sights, most did appreciate that it was close to both the main bus station and a metro station, from where they could travel to most tourist spots in the city.

The rooftop pool and terrace were by far the features that guests most appreciated about Residencia Onix Barcelona. It seems that it was especially popular at around sunset, when guests would head up there for a drink and a chance to witness the fading of the light.

Going by the reviews, it was very clear that many guests were pleasantly surprised by the size of their room. They felt that it was more than large enough for the number of people booked into the room.

This was by far the most common, and most serious, complaint. Many guests found that they experienced both noise from the streets below, with cars zooming by on the busy street, as well as from revellers inside the building itself. Guests speak of loud music until the early hours, slamming doors and so on.

A couple of guests mentioned that the kitchens really weren't well-equipped. They felt they could only prepare the most basic of meals.

Curiously, several guests commented that their room was simply too dark. It seems that the hotel may use low watt bulbs that do not properly illuminate the rooms. Guests say that they could not properly read with the light provided.
