positive:
Spacious suites to sprawl out
If you’re tired of small hotel rooms, this place offers plenty of
space in a unit with several rooms: bedroom, bathroom, living room and a
kitchen. It gives you a lot more room than in a typical, cookie-cutter hotel
chain. The kitchen comes with glassware, dinnerware,
silverware, dishwasher and fridge.
positive:
Convenient location in Ontario
You can get around Southern California with easy access to the freeway. The Residence Inn is located right across the street from the Ontario Convention Center and the Victoria Gardens shopping mall.
positive:
Airport shuttle takes you there
A hotel shuttle bus picks up and drops off guests at Ontario Airport. The location is extremely close for people who have early morning flights.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Grounds are not well-kept
Several guests said the outside grounds are not well-maintained, due to the fact that the inn allows people to bring their pets. It has resulted in a situation where hotel guests don’t pick up after their dogs and the outside grounds are soiled.
negative:
Pets seem to be the reoccurring offense
Guests were not impressed that some of the hotel rooms smelled
strongly of pet odor, as if the animals people brought in had urinated in
places. Although housekeeping tried to cover the stench with heavy perfume,
some said the rooms just smelled bad. One guest said they walked in and left
immediately after smelling the place.
negative:
Needs better soundproofing
The hotel needs better sound proofing as some guests complained that they could hear everything their neighbors were doing. Several said that they could hear their neighbors above them every time they walked.
