Hotel remm Akihabara (Tokyo, Japan)

Remm Akihabara is located right in the heart of Akihabara, which means this is the perfect location if you're into toys, gear and figurines. The hotel is located within walking distance to shopping centres, the Tokyo Anime Centre and electronics shops.

The hotel is practically attached to the Akihabara metro station making accessibility into the rest of Tokyo easy. Transport to and from the airport is also incredibly convenient, guests noted. Several shops, restaurants and convenience stores also surround the hotel.

The rooms came with a massage chair, which delighted guests after a long flight. They also recommended looking inside the drawers and cabinets to find small refrigerator, safe and electronic kettle.

Space is a premium in Tokyo so rooms may feel small and cramped. Several guests said the rooms were so limited in space that they barely had space to open their luggage. While several guests said they enjoyed having the massage chair, there wasn't enough space in the room to fully recline in it. There's also very limited hanging space for your clothes.

Guests were stumped on how to use certain amenities like the room phone because of the lack of instructions given in English.

Guests weren't really impressed with the breakfast service and noted that it wasn't included in the room rate. Many of them suggested that other travellers skip breakfast and explore the bevy of choices outside the hotel.
