Hotel Ramada by Wyndham Portland (Portland, USA)

Located conveniently close to the highway, the hotel is a 20-minute drive from downtown Portland. Several restaurants specializing in American as well as international cuisine are within easy walking distance of the hotel. Other attractions within a 15-minute drive include the Portland Art Museum, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Rose Quarter Arena, Waterfront Park, Oregon Zoo and the Grotto sanctuary.

The rooms have been described as well appointed, furnished with comfortable beds, cozy and clean. The bathrooms are also clean with good water pressure. Breakfast is complimentary with a range of dishes to choose from. Guests also enjoyed use of the spa and 24-hour fitness facilities.

You can expect to be welcomed at Ramada Portland East with a smile from staff who are friendly, approachable and available 24-hours a day to provide assistance.

The hotel is located close to the interstate and some guests were disturbed by the constant sound of traffic. Other guests complained about noise within the hotel, particularly those located close to the breakfast area, as the sound of other guests walking past and having loud conversations could be heard.

While parking is free, places are limited. At times parking is difficult to find and you may need to park in the nearby streets.

While most guest left favorable reviews about housekeeping, others reported negative experiences. At times mold has been found growing in the bathrooms, the carpets in some rooms are old and worn, and hairs have been found in the bathroom as well as among the bed sheets.
