Though many feel that they may be in need of some updating, a number of guests were pleased at the overall size of the rooms here. Yes, this property may be far from perfect, but a fair few felt that this hotel provided good basic accommodation in a location very close to New York City.

While not overly friendly, when things went wrong here, staff went out of their way to assist, even listening to guest complaints and offering full refunds as appropriate. For those who had serious issues with their rooms and bookings, having the ear of staff just when they needed actually left a very positive guest impression.

In terms of guest amenities, Wi-Fi and parking here were actually top-rated. Many were happy to note that signal was good and strong and that there was ample space in this property's parking lot.

Guests consistently expressed their concerns regarding the overall cleanliness at this property. Overflowing trash cans, garbage left in room, foul-smelling sheets, blankets and linen as well as dirty carpets and moldy shower fixtures unfortunately seem to be real issues here.

Not only were there concerns about housekeeping here, but some noted that cleaning staff did not knock upon entering their rooms. This was a cause for alarm for a number of guests. Additionally, some reported experiencing issues with locks, which mean they were unable to secure their rooms properly.

This is advertised as a non-smoking property, but a number of guests reported strong smells of cigarettes both in their rooms and throughout the premises.
