The Ramada Metairie New Orleans Airport is in a centric location close to Interstate ten in Metairie, LA. It enables guests to have easy access to busy areas and important places easily. The Causeway Boulevard is less than a mile from the hotel and the Lakeside Shopping Center is about three miles. For golfers, the City Park with its 18-hole golf course is a mere 15-minute drive and the French Quarter is at the same distance.

The 193 rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and heavy drapes. Amenities like 27-inch satellite TV, microwave and minifridge are present as well as coffeemakers. En suite bathrooms have shower and tub combination. Some rooms have balconies. Children aged 17 and under can stay free with adults in the rooms.

The hotel has an outdoor pool open seasonally and facilities of a sauna. Guests particular about their exercise regime, need not miss out with a fitness center present on site. A business center open 24 hours is present. A meeting room and banquet hall suits guests with work requirements. The restaurant on site serves free continental breakfast and a pancake house is open 24 hours. Parking is free with ample space available for large vehicles. Guests find the hotel very dirty and run down. Towels are stained and there are dents, holes, scratches and cracks to be seen all over the place. There is smell of mold everywhere as well.

The front desk staff is tardy and inefficient taking an incredibly long time to attend to the waiting guests. Guests feel that the pictures of the hotel shown on websites do not depict the actual look of the hotel.

Elevators are extremely slow, there is no hot water available and the free continental breakfast served has very basic and limited items.
