Many guests have loved the location of this property. The hotel sits right along Columbia Street, which can be taken down the hill into the downtown area or up the hill to the Trans-Canada Highway. Numerous restaurants and shops are within walking distance of the hotel, as well.

The majority of guests have found the customer service staff at this hotel to be personable and hard working. Guests have appreciated the effort that is put in by the staff at this property, which made their stays at the hotel much more enjoyable.

Guests have enjoyed spending time at the hotel's rooftop lounge. This lounge serves drinks and pub-style food, and features a wonderful view of the city.

Multiple guests have reported that the plumbing is quite loud at this hotel and is disruptive when guests have been trying to sleep. Whenever guests in neighbouring rooms would turn on their showers or taps, guests have said that they could hear a loud noise making its way through the pipes.

This is an older property and guests have complained that it is starting to show its age. The halls and rooms are quite old looking and this has taken away from the overall ambience of this hotel for guests.

There have been complaints about the rooms not being properly cleaned at this hotel. Guests have been surprised to arrive in their rooms and find dirty carpets, in particular. These guests feel as though a thorough shampooing of the carpets would improve the hotel's overall quality.
