Decent Location
Within a ten-minute drive to Huntington Beach and just half an hour's ride to Disneyland, this is an excellent tourist spot. With a late checkout time of noon, plenty of free parking, free daily breakfast and several dining options nearby, this reasonably-priced locale has all you need for a basic, no frills vacation.
positive:
Adequate, Standard Rooms
Most reported their rooms were clean, fresh and sufficient with basic amenities. Cozy beds, good showers, mini-fridges, and microwaves as well as old school air conditioning that usually still works pretty well.
positive:
Friendly, Professional Staff
Excellent, efficient staff are charming and ready to make your stay comfortable. Checking in and out should be a breeze. Don't get your hopes up for reaching anyone during the overnight shift, however. They are sometimes missing when it gets late.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Minimal Breakfast, Hot Pool
Some didn't care for the breakfast, reporting it was very limited in selection including fruit, cereal and plain white toast with no butter. The pool was smaller than some had imagined, and was kept at a very warm temperature similar to that of a hot tub. Others thought it seemed quite dirty. Still more were frustrated that it closed at an early 9:00 pm.
negative:
Noisy, Dirty & Busted
Shady clientele shouting at each other while on their cell phones late at night will surely get your attention. Footsteps on floors above will, too. Clothes and other items hang off sides of balconies. Locks missing from doors, lumpy beds and pillows, rough sheets (either that or polyester) and television remotes missing. To top it all off, you'll likely be awakened by either a rooster or a chain saw!

Name Change
Do note: This hotel was formerly a Howard Johnson Express. Some were confused and passed the entrance since it is now Quality Inn.
