Hotel Quality Inn & Suites (Destin, USA)

An easy walk to the beach without the high price of beach front accommodations made this hotel the perfect choice for many guests. Some said they could catch a glimpse of the water from their rooms, others enjoyed strolling along the boardwalk. Nearby shops and restaurants were an added bonus.

Quality Inn & Suites Miramar Beach has changed ownership a number of times and has undergone recent renovations. This was good news to many guests who commented on the brand new mattresses, the clean and modern bathrooms and pleasant decor. While some guests noted there is still work to be done, most gave the accommodations a thumbs up.

Guests were unanimous in their praise for the staff at Quality Inn & Suites, they appreciated the friendly greetings, the quick and efficient check and said staff did their best to make people comfortable.

While some guests made allowances for the renovations underway at this hotel, others saw only broken fixtures, improperly closing doors, water leaks and a generally drab and dingy feel to the establishment. Paper thin walls, non-functioning elevators and broken toilets were also noted.

The free breakfast is no bargain if there's not enough food to go around and some guests complained that items sometimes ran out and were not replenished and that the breakfast area was too small to accommodate everyone who wanted to eat.

Some guests complained about cleaning supplies left in their rooms, mold in bathrooms and musty odors.
