Hotel Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim Maingate (Anaheim, USA)

This is a great spot for the budget traveler with its decent proximity to Disneyland (an ART shuttle runs often; guests may purchase tickets for both shuttle and park at the front desk) and a great view of the nightly Disney fireworks from some of the rooms. Uber is available and a bus stop is just a block away. Handy walking distance to Starbucks or other casual dining venues - or you could try hoofing it to Disneyland if you enjoy walking - (some have complained it took them nearly half an hour.) There's a small pool on-site for cooling off and parking is available for a fee. Grounds are clean and the lobby is kept pristine and pleasantly adorned. The free breakfast includes both hot and cold items such as eggs, pastries, fruits, cereal, biscuits and gravy, coffee/tea and juices, as well as a make-your-own waffle station.

Well-equipped units feature refrigerators, microwaves, cozy beds, in-room coffee makers, free Wi-Fi, and optimal air conditioning. Plenty of complimentary toiletries, clean towels, windows and crisp linens.

Friendly and efficient staff won't keep you waiting at check-in/check-out. All departments are a win, with housekeeping and front desk receiving highest praises. Kudos!

Parking fees and resort fees combined with the lack of space and missing movie channels make some wish they'd booked elsewhere. Plan on a maneuvering into a tight squeeze when parking in your paid spot; mysterious resort fees on guests' bills when this venue is clearly not a resort leaves unanswered questions.

Don't count on your room rate staying the same over the weekdays. It can jump significantly higher.

Some reported the neighborhood as "sketchy." Others said their rooms were dirty, especially the carpeting.
