Outstanding customer service
The customer service at this Quality Inn location is absolutely outstanding. It appears that the front desk team here as well as the managerial staff will go out of their way to aid and assist guests. It's not to say that there are no problems here, but where they do occur, they are resolved swiftly and professionally. Regardless of the time of day, guests report a consistently warm welcome, something which provided a great basis for an overall positive experience.

Great location
Close to the Johnson Space Center, good for the nearby boardwalk and local attractions, it's no surprise to learn that this hotel is well-situated for this area of Houston. However, many reported that it is also ideally situated for those hoping to journey further afield and it seemed to be a good base for visitors heading to or from Galveston and even Louisiana.

Spotless, spacious stay
A number of guests were very impressed by the overall quality of the rooms here, many of which appeared to have been recently renovated. Cleanliness aside, the size of the units was also praised, with many delighted at the overall spaciousness of the rooms.

Wi-Fi poor
While the majority of guests reported smooth stays, there are some minor points for improvement here. Firstly, unfortunately for some, the Wi-Fi proved to be very weak. This was a particular disappointment for business guests.

Assorted bathroom issues
The rooms here are highly commended, but there do seem to be a number of niggling issues with the bathrooms. Guests have reported loose fixtures, poorly lit spaces and unsightly, oversized shower curtains.

There were also some reports here of musty and even moldy smells in rooms, with a number of visitors feeling that units could do with a good airing.
