Positive Reviews
positive:
Plenty of amenities for a City Center hotel
Many city center hotels are lacking in leisure facilities, but not Crowne Plaza Adelaide. Guests can enjoy a fully-equipped gym, pool, sauna and steam room. Despite this, the hotel is also ideally situated for the city center, and enjoys an enviable location close to Rundle Mall.
positive:
Polite, efficient staff
Staff at the hotel are polite and efficient, and will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Front of house staff, in particular, are cheerful and eager to assist in any way they can.
positive:
Functional, modern rooms
Most guests are highly complimentary of the rooms at the hotel; well-sized, with comfortable beds with pillow-top mattresses, a functional, well thought-out layout and plenty of power points for charging multiple devices, they are ideal for both business and leisure travellers.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Expensive parking
The hotel offers convenient valet parking for guests travelling by car. Some have, however, commented that the daily fees charged are exorbitant. Others have suggested that on-street parking can often be located nearby away from peak season.
negative:
Views vary dramatically
Many of the guest rooms boast stunning views across gardens and towards the city. Some of the rooms, on the other hand, look out over other parts of the building or the parking lot- not the most picturesque of views. If, however, your room is simply a place to lay your head, this may not be an issue.
negative:
Business center disappointment
The hotel does advertise a business center, but some guests have been left disappointed when trying to utilise its amenities. Several have mentioned that they have been unable to print boarding passes, leaving them scouting for places with printing facilities nearby at the last minute.
