Hotel Principe Paz (Santa Cruz, Spain)

The Sercotel Príncipe Paz Hotel is centrally located and is at a convenient distance from the town’s business centre. It is close to the city hall. The drive to the Congress Centre and Tenerife Auditorium will take only about eight minutes. Other attractions close by are the Teresitas Beach and shopping centres and restaurants. The hotel is a mere 15 minute drive from Tenerife Airport.

The 80 air-conditioned rooms at the hotel are luxurious yet homely. They are of several types designed to suit the needs of every guest whether they are travelling on business, pleasure or with family. There is a suite with a separate living room and a family room with two interconnected rooms. The bathrooms are private. All the rooms have satellite television, a work desk, minibar, safety box and hair dryer. Some of the rooms have sea views while some overlook the city centre.

The hotel provides suitable facilities to hold events like weddings or conduct business meetings with four function rooms being available. There are stores on site for guests to shop. Guests can avail of car hire and medical services provided by the hotel. The reception functions all day and night. The restaurant at the hotel serves breakfast and meals that consist of Basque, Mediterranean and Canary Island fare. Guests can enjoy views of the city centre while dining. The cafe has a large screen for the entertainment of guests and serves light sandwiches, salads and tapas. Parking is private and available on a prior request.

The air conditioning is noisy, loud enough to disturb sleep. Another source of noise is the breakfast room early in the mornings.

Wi-Fi is free to access, but the speed is very slow.

The temperature control of the shower is faulty and moves from warm to extremely hot in no time.
