Hotel Prazeres Resorts (Candolim, India)

The resort location is close to Canolim Beach. Restaurants are roughly ten-minutes away, there are also markets, an ATM, and more.

There are a couple of bars and a swimming pool. Most reviews will claim the pool water is extremely murky and some others will claim it's cleaned each night. They also offer a laundry service. However, if you are looking for five-star, or even four-star, perhaps three-star, accommodation, you won't find it here.

You will receive a very basic breakfast of coffee, juice, a couple of pieces of toast with butter or jam. Simple, but will get you going through part of the day at least.

The resort has no backup like a generator in case power goes out and outages can happen frequently.

Staff could do with some hospitality training. For example, you could very well arrive at the hotel and find the staff have no idea about your booking. Though this can happen at other establishments, with the condition of the hotel they don't need something like this added to the disappointment! You have to make requests again and again before anything is done.

There's so much, it's hard to know where to start, it could take ten pages! There is no TV or Wi-Fi, restaurant service is nearly non-existent, no toiletries, linens are of poor quality, and no drinking water is provided after a certain hour. You may also encounter bad odours, leakage from the ceiling, roaches in the cabinets, and more. You may as well bring your own cleaning utensils if you plan on staying at this facility.
