Positive Reviews
positive:
Setting is very pleasant
The vast majority of guests who've stayed here have loved the park's setting as, in addition to being just across road from a beautiful sandy beach, it is also on the doorstep of a number of delightful forest walks. The landscaped gardens within the park are also a big hit, as is the bus stop outside the gates which provides easy access to Weston-super-Mare.
positive:
Food is tasty and plentiful
It's easy to see why so many returning visitors are such big admirers of the park's chef: the food proffered here (in buffet form) at breakfast and lunch is tasty, well presented, and - best of all - very plentiful. Evidently, leaving the restaurant with anything other than a full belly is not an option.
positive:
Entertainment is top-notch
A great many guests have raved about the efforts of the park's cheery Bluecoats entertainment team. With a full programme of fun activities right throughout the day and a variety of shows each and every night, they're extremely adept at putting smiles on guests' faces.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Chalets aren't very inviting
It is fair to say that many of the standard chalet accommodations here look just as dated on the inside as they appear from the outside. Worn out furniture, grubby decor and unkempt bathrooms are just a few of the issues highlighted by numerous disgruntled guests.
negative:
Queuing for food can be tiresome
Whilst many guests loved the food served here, very few appreciated the queuing, sometimes for as long as half-an-hour, required to actually get it.
negative:
Receptionists need to up their game
A significant number of guests have noted that some of the receptionists here are surly, disinterested and - in some cases - even quite rude.
