Past guests of the Place Louis Riel have enjoyed its location, as it is within walking distance of the MTS Centre, Portage Place, and the RBC Convention Centre. Being able to walk to many of downtown Winnipeg's top attractions makes this a very attractive venue.

Many guests have raved about the rooms at this property. These rooms have separate bedrooms, full kitchens, and sitting areas. This ensures that guests have a place to sit, relax, and eat their meals while staying at this property.

The fitness facilities at this hotel are outstanding. In fact, some guests have commented that they are the best that they have ever seen at a hotel. This was a great feature for guests who used these facilities or who enjoy having a workout while on vacation.

Although there is a venue that looks like a restaurant at the Place Louis Riel, it is only used for breakfast service in the morning. Some guests were disappointed that this room wasn't used throughout the day as a restaurant.

A few guests were upset about having to pay for parking at this hotel. They believed that parking should be included in the price of the room, which isn't the policy that this property uses. Other guests, however, found the price of parking to be reasonable.
