Guests were impressed by how the staff here consistently work harder than expected to meet their needs. Even when guests needed things like early check-ins or rooms located in specific areas of the hotel, staff members met those requests quickly and cheerfully.

This property is close enough to the University of Oregon to reach it on foot. Many people stayed here before sports matches or when they were trying to help their relatives move into residences on campus. However, there are also restaurants and shops that are easy to get to as well.

Guests noted that the beds were much more comfortable than expected for a hotel of this price range. They said in addition to the excellent mattresses, the property was quiet, so they were able to drift off to sleep speedily.

Some guests suggested that the windows in the rooms need new and better drapes. They said the ones installed do not sufficiently shut out sunlight, which could be bothersome if you are trying to sleep in the middle of the day. This was especially problematic for guests with rooms facing the parking lot.

Although guests appreciated that this property has a free breakfast and said it had more variety than they had hoped for, they also mentioned that the breakfast items did not change from day to day. That may mean breakfast gets a bit boring during an extended stay.

This was just a minor problem for most guests, but there were comments about how the bathrooms were small. This made guests feel cramped when using them, and caused them to not want to linger there.
